Pencil-post settle, in-progress

I’ve been busy the past few months with a few shop projects, a screen door (almost done) of doug fir and a settle based upon one made by Stickley. Since I have not posted anything in awhile, I thought I’d share a few photos. It has been a fun project, with just enough complexity to keep it interesting. The post finals are made of cocobolo and the strip visible on the back rest os solid ebony.  I’ve got a few final fitting details to work out before finish and assembly.

Pencil-Post Settle in progress. Dry assembly to check fit of joints.
